Project Landline

So glad you called ... I mean, stopped by to read this.
We're excited to tell you more about Project Landline

Screen Sanity is an international nonprofit, but we call Kansas City home. And that home doubles as a sandbox for piloting innovative, digital-health programs for and with families. So, when a group of local parents wanted to provide landlines to each household in their school to see how it built community and helped families delay smartphones/social media, we stepped in to help.

Along with Tin Can phones, parents received Screen Sanity landline educational resources and a Screen Sanity Training to help them mentor and guide their kids through their entire digital childhood.

Via this community-funded program, we are excited to see how families use the Tin Can phones, what laughs are had and what lessons are learned. We are hopeful this model can be replicated in communities elsewhere.
