Sapien Labs recently published a study finding a significant correlation between the age at which a child is given a smartphone and their mental health as early adults (ages 18-24). Trends in the health of our youth are changing, with young people making up the majority of the population struggling with their mental wellness.

While the data shows correlation, not causation, we like what Jon Haidt and Zach Rausch share at After Babel:

“We think it’s appropriate for those who care for children to act on the preponderance of evidence, rather than waiting for evidence beyond a reasonable doubt.”
